At the same time, the process for training 80,000 unemployed people is underway. In total, that is, DYPA “runs” 162,000 new jobs and training.
These programs are gaining in importance as well pandemic support programs have expired.

More specifically, in relation to the new program of subsidizing salaries and contributions for 10,000 recruitments in Attica and Central Macedonia, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis, stated that “this program is very useful for both businesses and young people. people.

With a 100% subsidy, it is an attractive program that gives a strong incentive to hire the unemployed. “We continue to invest in active employment policies, especially for groups facing significant barriers, such as the young unemployed.”
Program information
The aim of the new program, lasting 7 months and with a budget of 65 million euros (co-financed by the NSRF) is to enhance the access of young people to the labor market through the acquisition of professional experience.
The beneficiaries are 10,000 unemployed young people, aged 18-29, graduates of at least compulsory education, registered in the unemployment registers of the Employment Promotion Centers of DYPA located in areas under the jurisdiction of the Attica Region and the Region of Central Macedonia.
The program lasts seven months and DYPA will pay the beneficiaries a monthly compensation equal to the legal minimum net salary (with full insurance contributions), as well as a proportion of holiday gifts and leave allowance.
The companies that are interested in participating, are included in the program, depending on the staff they employ, as follows:

over 50 persons 20% of the employed staff, up to 20.
A necessary condition is that the company has not reduced staff due to termination of employment contract in the 3 months before submitting the application.
Regarding the process, companies interested in participating submit an online application through of the DYPA websitein which they determine the specialty and the educational level of the position.
DYPA confirms that the company meets the conditions. The employment consultants of the Public Employment Service nominate candidates to the company according to the required qualifications of the vacancy, the company selects the beneficiary and signs a cooperation agreement.
