Ship traffic has slowed in Suez Canal, as the M / T Rumford tanker appeared to be having difficulty in the southern part of the canal, according to MarineTraffic and TankerTrackers.
The Suez Canal Authority has informed the shipping companies that M / T Rumford is having a problem with its engines and that trailers have rushed to help it.
TankersTracker, however, announced on Twitter that the ship is finally heading north, according to the Athens News Agency.
