Boeing 737-838 aircraft with more than one hundred people on board, operating flight QF144 from Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney of Australia and issued a distress signal earlier due to failure of one of its two engines, landed safely, according to specialist websites such as Flightradar 24 and FlightAware, as evidenced by footage from Australian television network 9 News.
Earlier, 12 fire engines and several ambulances were put on standby to intervene if needed at the airport.
