A step to his innocence? Johnny Depp to present Amber’s phone records to prove she lied

It seems that the fight between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will still continue in court, but this time, the actor has a great ace up his sleeve, as a court has already granted Depp access to present the phone records of his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

Deep is said to plan to use the records to prove that Heard did falsify the injuries he allegedly inflicted on her and thereby plans to sue her for defamation.

The fight is not over yet

Johnny Depp lost a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper The Sun in November 2020 and since then, the actor has not had a good time. The judge ruled that the newspaper’s claim that he was a “wife beater” was substantially true.

However, before the $ 50 million lawsuit is made from the star of Pirates of the Caribbean Against Heard, the legal team plans to show that she tampered with the photos to make it appear that he was the one who assaulted her.

According to the site Page Six, Depp’s lawyers have accused Heard of falsifying photos in which he has bruised eyes, a nose and a broken lip and in which she claims were the result of assaults that her ex-husband caused her in 2015 Benjamin Chew, Depp’s attorney, noted that Heard’s attorney has repeatedly used these fake photographs in the case and also claimed that the Los Angeles Police Department “disavowed the photographs” because they found no injury to the actress.

They already prepare the case in a very intelligent way. The court ruled that Deep’s legal team will be able to have an expert look at the phone to examine whether the photos were fabricated. In response, Heard’s attorney stated:

Amber Heard remains willing and able to support the authenticity of her evidence and her forensic information technology expert has cooperated with this effort. In stark contrast, Mr. Depp has been unable to produce even the audiotapes of which he leaked a partial and out of context portion, much less any support for the authenticity of any of his evidence.

The lawsuit Depp will file says Heard and his friends fabricated photos and used them to obtain a temporary restraining order and a $ 7 million divorce settlement. An expert will be in charge of inspecting the mobile and giving a verdict on it.

The final judgment in which both parties will have to state their reasons and show all the evidence they have about each other is dated for next year, so we will wait for the date to come to know the final verdict.
