The Peloponnese Region announced the inclusion of 1,101 young people in the “Settlement of Young Farmers” sub-measure of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program.
According to the decision signed by the regional governor of Peloponnese, Panagiotis Nikas, the public expenditure of the operations amounts to 40,685,000 euros and the Public Investment Program (PIP) will be financed.
The public financial support that each beneficiary will receive varies between 35,000-40,000 euros. The aid is paid in two installments. The first is credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries upon joining the measure and concerns 70% of the total aid amount, while the second installment is paid upon completion of the business plan.
The minimum duration of a Business Plan implementation is three (3) years and the maximum is four (4) years.
