A bomb exploded on a busy shopping street in the Afghan capital Kabul today, wounding at least 22 people, hospital officials and witnesses said.
The explosion occurred in a western district of the city where members of the minority Shiite Muslim community meet.
Video posted online shows ambulances rushing to the scene, which is near bus stations.
A spokesman for the Taliban’s interior ministry said an investigation team was at the scene of the blast to help the injured and assess casualties.
No militant group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
And yesterday, Friday (5/8), another explosion took place in a very nearby area that killed 8 people and injured 18. Behind yesterday’s explosion is the jihadist organization Islamic State.
