Afghanistan – US and UK urge citizens to leave Kabul hotels

The governments of the United States of America and the United Kingdom sounded the alarm on Monday (11/10), for a possible security threat hotels of Kabul.

The alarm mainly concerned the luxury hotel Serena, without giving details, however, urging their citizens to leave as soon as possible.

“Due to the increased risks, we advise you not to stay in hotels “ of Kabul, highlighted through its website the Foreign Office, referring specifically to the Serena Hotel.

“Because of security threats, we urge Americans to stay away from the area,” the State Department said in a statement, referring to foreign-owned hotels in the Afghan capital.

It is recalled that a few days ago ISIS claimed responsibility for the deadly attack on the mosque of the city of Kunduz in northeastern Afghanistan with dozens dead.
