O Cirque Du Soleil is back in Brazil after almost three years.
The Canadian company premieres the show bazaar in São Paulo this Thursday (8) and will continue until November 27 at the Villa Lobos park.
Then it will be the turn of the Rio de Janeiro receive the show. The structure will be assembled in the parking lot of Rio Centro and the short season in Wonderful city will take place from the 8th to the 31st of December.
The show premiered in 2018 and is Cirque du Soleil’s 43rd original production since its inception in 1984.
The production, which has an international cast of 33 artists and musicians, has already visited countries such as India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt and the Dominican Republic.
Celebrating diversity, unity, freedom and also the legacy of Cirque du Soleil itself, there are references to numbers that refer to the first passions of the company’s founders, such as fire-breathers, stilts, as well as artists and street musicians. .
This is the eighth show that the troupe brings to Brazil. The previous ones were: “Saltimbanco” (2006); “Joy” (2007); “Quidam” (2009); “Varekai” (2011); “Corteo” (2013); “Amaluna” (2017) and Egg (2019).
Tickets for the Bazzar start at R$155 and go up to R$1,090. They are available for purchase on the Eventim website. The presentation lasts 2 hours with a 20-minute break.
