After earthquake, Brazilian in Turkey reports fear of new tremors

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck southern Turkey early on Monday, toppling buildings and sending residents running into the streets as aftershocks were felt across the region.

More than 2,700 people died in the disaster that also affected neighboring Syria.

Listen to the story of Brazilian Jaqueline Rosa Çetin, who lives in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir. She said the tremors had caused panic and that residents were afraid of further earthquakes.
