The influencer Isabel Veloso 18, used her social media to vent about your symptoms after giving birth to her first child, Arthur, who was born 26 days ago. They are caused by cancer that she has faced since she was 15 .
“I’m exhausted by tiredness. Not from motherhood, but from illness. The cough and shortness of breath are too much, I’ve had a fever and night sweats for four days. Today, I woke up and it felt like I was in a swimming pool”, she wrote in a photo published this Friday (24).
Isabel explained that she is recovering well from the cesarean section, so the symptoms she is experiencing are due to the Hodgkin’s lymphoma tumor, a cancer that has placed her in a palliative state.
“The first time I had it, it was twice as bad. I sweated a lot: my bed and mattress were wet. Now it’s almost at that level, but it’s not there yet,” said the influencer in her Stories.
She explained that night sweats are a common symptom of lymphoma, as is fever. To improve, Isabel will undergo treatment again, but said that the medicine requested by her doctors has not yet arrived in the country.
“We discussed the process to get the medication and, God willing, everything will be fine and I will be able to get the treatment I need. I hope you can control everything and, finally, give me an opportunity in terms of health”, said Arthur’s mother.
The baby of Isabel Veloso and her husband, Lucas Borba, was born prematurely on December 29, 2024 and, since then, has been hospitalized to gain weight. She said that she is fulfilling her biggest dream in motherhood, which is to breastfeed.
In October 2024, Isabel resumed cancer treatment at five months of pregnancy, after discovering that the lymphoma had grown again.
At 28 weeks pregnant, the influencer shared that the disease had spread, reaching her lungs.
