After guidance from the Navy, tour of the Falls returns to normal operation

The traditional boat trips at Iguaçu Falls, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), resumed operations this Tuesday (11). They had been suspended on Monday (10) to reassess the safety of the route, after concerns generated by the collapse in Capitólio (MG). The Iguaçu National Park has ensured that conditions are safe.

Over the course of last Monday (10th), under the guidance of the Navy, there was a reassessment of the tours because the boat arrives close to the waterfalls. The reassessment was made to ensure the safety of tourists.

According to the administration of the Iguaçu National Park, there was a safety check for tourists, so the tour could be resumed normally this Tuesday.

The boat tour, is a tour apart from the tickets that are purchased to visit the Iguaçu Falls, and is offered by a private company, which takes tourists very close to the waterfalls, so the reassessment after the event in Capitol.

Also according to the park, assessments are carried out frequently and there has always been a guarantee of safety for all tourists.
