Alaska, the bus that takes dogs on a trip

What are 20, 30, or even 40 dogs doing on bus seats, riding around the snowy mountains of Skagway, Alaska? Simple: they go on a trip with the Mo Mountain Muttsthe bus that Mo and Lee Thompson, two young animal enthusiasts, they decided to buy just for this. The couple – who now also have a child – have always loved long walks in nature, especially in the company of dogs. For this reason Mo and Lee have decided to organize a special active service every day, for the four-legged ones who love outdoor adventures.

The white bus stops in front of the homes of the “customers”, i.e. the dogs, who get on board and, after having carefully sniffed, choose their place: there are those who prefer to sit in the front rows and those who always end up in the small group at the bottom.

Not all dogs are suitable for this type of activity: it is necessary that the participants are obedient and inclined to remain in a group, and that they respond promptly when called by Mo and Lee.

At the end of the walk, the dogs return to the bus, satisfied and wagging their tails, for the journey home. Mo and Lee take them back and say goodbye, knowing they’ll be back in the same place the next day. And that certainty is a happy thought: «We’re having a lot of fun», explains Mo, «to work together with them».
