All ready for the Catholic “Way of the Cross” in Rome – Pope Francis will officiate

Preparations are over at the Colosseum in Rome to welcome the “Way of the Cross”, the Via Crucis of Catholic Good Friday that symbolizes Jesus' journey to Calvary. According to APE-MPE information, Pope Francis is expected to officiate at the religious ceremony, despite the bronchitis that has plagued him in recent weeks and the problems with walking, due to which he sometimes uses a wheelchair. The ceremony is expected to be attended by tens of thousands of believers from all over the world. At the same time, for the first time in recent years, the “reflections” on the fourteen “stances” of Jesus were written, this year, by the pontiff himself.
