The Ministry of Environment and Energy has announced that the 47,433 runners-up are included in the “Excoionamo 2021” Program as eligible in principle.
The “Save 2021” budget increases by 591.7 million euros and totals 1.2 billion euros (94% increase). In total, the beneficiaries of the Program are now 87,578 households.
Those of the beneficiaries who have a complete electronic building identity can start the energy upgrading interventions, related to the percentage of their own participation in the Program.
“Save 2021” is the first building energy upgrade program with a separate budget for vulnerable households. This support for the economically weaker is increased by 81.8 million euros and concerns 5,890 households. Thus, a total of 14,246 of our most vulnerable fellow citizens are supported with 201.8 million euros.
New lists of runner-up names will be updated as soon as the new program guide is released.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostas Skrekas, said: “We are responding to the great interest of Greek households in the “Save 2021” program and today we are including in it all the runners-up whom we are turning into beneficiaries.
We continue our effort to support society in every way in the very difficult times we are going through and at the same time reduce energy consumption and protect the Environment”.
