THE police investigation that led to the arrest of 40-year-old Kristen Graham began at 4 p.m. Tuesday when she was called to the hospital Bon Secours Mary Immaculate as a man went to the emergency room and said he had a “dead child” in the back of his vehicle, Sheriff Ron Montgomery said at a news conference. Emergency department staff found one black plastic garbage bag in the back door of the vehicle, Montgomery stated, and inside the bag was the body of an 11-month-old child. The child was later identified as Myrical Wicker.
The research findings
As it conveys the CBSaccording to the Police, the investigation found that the nanny, in the early hours of the same day, she had received a phone call from her friend who asked her for a pack of cigarettes because he was taking care of an elderly man and could not leave him. “So the baby she got into the car with a dog and they took it to a store where the 40-year-old bought a pack of cigarettes and a juice,” said a police spokesperson.
Nanny then went back to her house, closed the windows of her car and forget the baby and the dog inside while in the area the temperature reached 31 degrees Celsius. The 40-year-old fell asleep and woke up at noon at 14:30 by a phone call. Only then did he go to the car and see that both the baby and the dog had died. Graham was arrested at her home on Wednesday. She was charged with felony child neglect and animal cruelty.
