An address from the time of Satoshi Nakamoto moved 2000 BTC

On May 22, 2024, an unknown Bitcoin whale from the time of Satoshi Nakamoto transferred 2,000 BTC to one wallet. He received bitcoins in 2010 as a mining reward. At the time of writing, they are valued at more than $139 million.

Note that the commission for such a transaction was $214.14.

A crypto expert under the pseudonym mononautical on X (formerly Twitter) noted that some of the bitcoins owned by the whale have increased in value a million-fold since being mined.

Note that on March 26, 2024, an unknown Bitcoin whale, who received 2000 BTC as a mining reward in 2010, also transferred all assets to one wallet.

Earlier, another major bitcoin hodler from the time of Satoshi Nakamoto sold 1,000 BTC as the first cryptocurrency reached a historical maximum of $69,129.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading near $69,800.
