An incredibly luxurious SUV was presented in China: with wood, leather and gilding

Last fall, the Chinese company Hongqi held a presentation of its luxury SUV at a private show, but even after the premiere, information about the vehicle did not appear on the Internet. And today, April 13, the manufacturer decided to officially present its product to the world – Hongqi LS7 appeared before the public in all its glory. Actually, this is a kind of competitor to Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga, only created not for the mass market, but exclusively for the Chinese government – you can buy this vehicle only for party members. Precisely because of this, apparently, there was no information for so long.

Now it became known that the SUV for the elite was created on the basis of a V-shaped turbocharged eight-cylinder engine (power and dynamics are not specified), and the dimensions of the body are comparable to the large American SUV Jeep Grand Wagoneer L. Inside such an impressive body there are four seats (other types there will be no layout), and the rear row seats are separated by a very wide console. All seats, of course, are equipped with heating and ventilation, the steering wheel is made in a classic style, and a full-fledged quartz clock with hands was installed on the front panel.

On the front side of the car, you can see the manufacturer’s standard “comb” and mounts for flags, and in the cabin, the potential owner will find only natural materials of the highest quality – all parts are trimmed with leather, mahogany veneer and gold-plated decor elements. In this case, the manufacturer clearly did not replace anything with plastic “blende”.

Production of Hongqi LS7 in China should begin in the second half of 2022 and, most interestingly, after the SUV is sent to the needs of the state, they plan to launch a luxury car for free sale.
