An iPhone fan punishes an entire NBA team over one player who had an Android smartphone

As it became known, one of the zealous fans of Apple and the iPhone is the former head coach of the NBA basketball team Milwaukee Bucks Jason Kidd (Jason Kidd), who hated Android smartphones.

As it turned out, the entire Milwaukee Bucks team used iPhones and exchanged messages in the iMessage application, which revealed the fact that one of the basketball players was using a smartphone from the enemy camp. The Android basketball player was center Thon Maker.

Jason Kidd was upset about this and made the team run. The coach believed that Ton Maker, who did not use an iPhone, was a great example of the lack of cohesion among the team.

The story took place back in 2014, but it was only now before the release of Mirin Fader’s book Giannis: The Improbable Rise of an NBA MVP by Mirin Fader.

Fader writes that Kidd was a strict coach for the Milwaukee Bucks from 2014 to 2018 and brought in interesting coaching tactics, punishing the entire team for a single player error. If the player made a mistake during training, then Kidd made everyone else run, while the guilty one had to watch from the side. This tactic was supposed to induce the players to demand responsibility from each other.
