An updated version of the fourth generation Kia Sorento crossover, which debuted in our country last fall, was released in Russia. On the outside, the new logo, which is present on all new cars, allows to define the fresh model.
The main changes are hidden inside: the car received the Kia Connect telematics complex, which is initially installed on all models, starting with the Prestige. Users get remote control of a number of car functions via a smartphone, the ability to build a route, data on traffic, traffic jams, weather, parking, cameras along the way, search for the nearest service or gas station.
In addition, the Prestige version received a collision avoidance system, driver attention monitoring, lane departure warning and automatic high beam. Even the younger models Classic, Comfort and Luxe have received a multimedia system with an 8-inch screen, as well as wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
All versions now have heated windscreen and washer nozzles. The all-wheel drive version with a 2.5-liter petrol engine now has an AWD Lock mode. Head-Up Display is available starting from the Premium version. The Premium and Premium + also have larger front brake discs and a black headlining, while the Premium + additionally has metal pedals and trim in brown nappa leather instead of black. The total number of trim levels has grown to 15, while the interior color does not affect the price.
