ANAC launches application for training airline pilots; understand what changes

THE National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) launched a new application that aims to make life easier for those who want to join or work in aviation civil. Developed in partnership with the Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro), the app offers a series of digital services for pilots centralizing various functionalities in a single place.

With the new application, pilots will be able to perform various tasks in a more practical and efficient way, such as managing courses and flight hours, issuing the Technical Qualification Certificate (CHT), paying fees and accessing accredited clinics and schools.

The development of the Super App was the result of a partnership between Anac and Serpro, who combined their knowledge to create a solution that meets users’ needs.

“The Super App reflects our effort to simplify processes and improve the user experience, placing the user at the center of our actions,” he stated Tiago Sousa Pereira, CEO of Anac.

Simplified journey for everyone

From the launch of the platform, aspirants and pilots will be able to monitor their career progression in detail. From the simplified process for obtaining the CHT document, payment of fees and access to a network of accredited clinics and schools will be facilitators.

Additionally, the app sends notifications and reminders to help meet deadlines and obligations, making the process more efficient. Anac’s initiative was praised by sector experts as an example of innovation in public service.

“We started with private pilots, but the next steps will include commercial pilots, airline pilots, flight attendants and aircraft maintenance mechanics. Everything will be implemented in a modular way”, explained the superintendent of Civil Aviation Personnel at Anac Elder Rodrigues.
