Google has begun to distribute an interesting innovation for the Android Auto platform to reduce the distraction of drivers from the road.

Apparently, Google has found that drivers spend too much time selecting music and podcasts on the media screen. And now Android Auto has a new icon with suggestions and listening tips.

When you click the button, a pop-up window appears with automatically generated recommendations for music, podcasts and news. The tips are arranged in three large blocks. Content is offered from installed apps, but Google Assistant can add news and podcasts to the list.
So far, the innovation is being distributed to a limited number of users. If all goes well, large-scale rollouts can be expected in the coming weeks.
