The board of the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) proposed this Tuesday (24) an average readjustment of 1.54% in Energisa Sergipe’s tariffs. The average readjustment for consumers served at high voltage, such as industries, should be -0.01%.
As for low voltage connections, which include residential ones, the proposed average increase is 2.08%.
The tariff review proposal presented this Tuesday will undergo public consultation from January 25th to March 10th and, therefore, may still be changed. The agency will also hold a face-to-face public hearing on February 24 to discuss the issue.
The new values should come into effect from April 22.
Aneel proposed that the X Factor value to be used in the distributor’s readjustments, until the next tariff review, will consider the T component of 2.727%, and the other components must be calculated in each readjustment process.
The index set by Aneel aims to share with the consumer the concessionaire’s productivity gains due to the growth of consumer units and increased consumption in the existing market.
The proposal also establishes new limits for service quality indicators. For the years 2024 to 2028, the agency foresees an annual reduction of 3.44% for the DEC, which shows the time interval that each consumer, on average, was without energy, and of 4.57% for the FEC, referring to the number of interruptions that each consumer suffered, on average.
