Off the networks, the 32-year-old anesthetist raped patients and shared images of abuse against children and adolescents.
“In addition to collecting heavy pornographic material, in which even babies were sexually abused, he [Andres] he also produced videos in which he rapes two patients he was supposed to care for, but he took advantage of the moment of vulnerability to rape”, reports delegate Luiz Henrique Marques, head of DCAV.
From a family of doctors and married to a doctor, Andres Carrillo completed his higher education in the tourist city of Santa Marta, Colombia, in 2015. Two years later, the Colombian moved to Brazil and specialized in anesthesiology.
In 2020, Carrillo passed the Revalida test, a process for revalidating the diplomas of doctors who graduated abroad and want to work in Brazil, ranking 790th, among the 1085 doctors approved that year, only 7% of those enrolled.
In Rio de Janeiro, he worked as an intern at the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital, one of the most important university hospitals in the country.

In other posts, the anesthetist appears in photos in the midst of nature and with the presence of animals. In one of these records, he holds a fish and comments: “the fisherman’s smile is the size of that fish”.
While he appeared to have a perfect life on social media, the police found more than 20,000 scenes of abuse against children and adolescents, committed by other people, but stored in the anesthesiologist’s devices. It was these images that raised the suspicions. The police began to investigate and discovered that he also practiced the rapes. The police are investigating whether he sold the images.
Investigations began in December 2022, from the sharing of information by the Federal Police’s Service for Repression of Hate Crimes and Child Pornography. Now the police will raise all the units in which the doctor works and try to find new possible victims.
The man was taken to a prison in Benfica, in the north zone of Rio de Janeiro, where he will undergo a custody hearing this Tuesday afternoon (17). He was arrested yesterday (16) at the house where he lives with his wife, in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone. According to the police, his wife found it hard to believe that her husband was committing the crimes and was in a state of shock.
The Regional Council of Medicine (Cremerj) and the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) reported that they opened an investigation to investigate the case, leading to the suspension of the man.
