On average, every fifth resident of Russia still uses a push-button telephone. Among Beeline users there are 23% of such users, Tele2’s figure is 20%, and Megafon’s is 17%.

At the same time, over the past three years, the share of such users in the Beeline network has decreased by 10 percentage points, for Tele2, the decline was 7 percentage points in two years, and for Megafon this indicator has decreased by 14 percentage points over three years.

Statistics show that more than a third of push-button telephone users are people over 65, and among young people the figure is about 15%.

It is also worth noting that in the first half of the year, sales of push-button telephones in Russia increased by 6.7%, while in M.Video-Eldorado networks the growth amounted to an impressive 26%. At the same time, in the world, sales of push-button phones in the first quarter sank 19%.
