There Princess Eugenie of York and her husband Jack Brooksbank, who have just announced that they are expecting their second child, would in fact be ready to start their «Megxit». As the British press tells, the two, just like Harry And Meghan Marklethat is, they would mean say goodbye to London and move overseas. A friend of Eugenie’s told the Daily Mail that the Dukes of Sussex have sent the couple details of all the homes for sale near their Montecito mansion, California. Eugenie and Jack though they would prefer Los Angeles, and in any case at the beginning of their great American leap they would prefer rented accommodation. Moving to the United States would not be a completely new choice for Eugenie, who lived in New York for two years between 2013 and 2015, when she worked for an auction house.
At the moment Eugenie and Jack are divided between London and Portugal, where she works. But now that the family is about to expand “they dream of a new life”. Apparently right next to the rebel couple formed by Harry and Meghan. On the other hand Eugenie, who has always had a very close bond with his cousinit now seems theonly royal ally of the Sussexes. Only she, to say, appeared in the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan. Over the course of six episodes, we discovered that the princess and then-boyfriend Jack helped the Sussexes keep their story hidden from the press early in the relationship.
And indeed, last year, Eugenie and her husband visited the Sussexes several times. The princess is also one of the very few British royals to whom Harry in the book bomb Shoot always dedicate affectionate words. For example, the prince recounts that when his cousin, whom he calls «Euge», met Markle for the first time, the two “they embraced like sisters”. A relationship that evidently continues, in spite of family feuds. So much so that Eugenie and her husband would be ready to move near the Sussex house.
