Ariana Grande announced, this Wednesday (17), the release date of her new album, “Eternal Sunshine”. The American singer will release the album on March 8th, which marks International Women's Day.
The announcement was made by Ariana on her official Instagram account and was accompanied by three images that could be clues to the visual identity of her new project.
“Eternal Sunshine” is Ariana Grande’s seventh album and marks the American’s return after a four-year hiatus. His last release was the album “Positions”, which reached the public in October 2020.
Since then, the voice of “Thank U Next” and “Side To Side” had only appeared in songs by other artists and film soundtracks, such as “Não Olhe Para Cima”.
On Friday (12), Ariana released “yes, and?”, the first single of her new era. The song is house, with strong influences from Madonna's “Vogue”, one of the greatest pop music classics.
The lyrics, which feature the singer herself as one of the composers, talk about not caring what others think and feeling comfortable with who you are.
“Eternal Sunshine” is one of the most anticipated albums of the year, alongside new productions by Jennifer Lopez and Usher.
