This Thursday (14), singer Arlindo Cruz turned 65 years old. Taking advantage of the date, Arlindinho Cruz, the musician’s son, shared an emotional outburst wishing his father a happy birthday.
In 2017, the artist had a hemorrhagic stroke (Cerebral Vascular Aneurysm) and, since then, has lived with the consequences of the disease.
“Today is a sad happiness or a happy sadness”, began Arlindinho in Instagram stories. “A mix of sensations and feelings. It’s my father’s birthday. My dear father is alive, he is here. Maybe not how we would like, but it’s how God left him here with us. Congratulations, Arlindão, congratulations. I love you,” he added.
Afterwards, he thanked all the support and good vibes. “I thank God for everything, I know that he knows everything, and I thank everyone for the love, the messages, the positive energy as always. Thanks! And to my dear father, health, strength and quality of life. Leave the rest to us”, he concluded.
In August, Arlindo Cruz was admitted to Casa de Saúde São José, in Humaitá, in the south zone of Rio, with a case of bacterial mumps. Medical discharge was given on September 5th.
