The Israelis soldiers “will kill” its fighters Hamas “shooting through the hospitals” of Gaza, a spokesman for the Israeli armed forces said today, following strikes on several medical facilities earlier today.
“If we see Hamas terrorists shooting through hospitals, we will do the right thing (…) we will kill them” said Richard Hecht speaking to reporters.
The representative admitted, however, that these businesses are of a “sensitive nature”.
“It would be easier if Hamas left the hospitals and showed us clearly” he added, accusing the Palestinian organization of “operating inside the hospitals”.
Hecht argued that the Israeli military “takes all possible precautions to ensure it does not attack people receiving serum or treated for fractures“, he added.
According to the Hamas government, 13 people were killed and dozens were injured today by an Israeli army strike on Al Shifa hospital. Israel said yesterday that it targeted a “military command center” of the group, near the hospital.
The director of the hospital said that Israeli tanks targeted the maternity clinic.
