ASMR applied to sex, or how to use sounds and noises to get aroused in bed

There are some sounds or noises that give you instantly a feeling of well-being? If so, then you are among them sensitive to the ASMR. What does this acronym mean? ASMR stands for Autonomous sensory meridian responsethat is to say “Response of the autonomous sensory meridians”: certain sounds or noises start with a mild tingling sensation in various parts of the body, accompanied by a state of mental relaxation. Many call it a kind of mental orgasmto the point that ASMR videos are often seen just to try to counter states of acute stress or insomnia.

The sounds or noises that trigger the response vary from person to person, as does the intensity of the response itself. Some examples of ASMR? The tapping of nails on a surface, the noise of a ballpoint pen or pencil on a sheet of paper, the noise of wine poured into a glass, whispering, blowing, munching something, typing, the scratching of nails on a surface … But there are many other.

If you type ASMR on YouTube, millions of videos come out as a result ASMR artiststhat is to say “sound professionals “, whose job is to produce videos capable of “hypnotizing” those who are sensitive to this nervous response. The most famous, at least in Italy, is Chiara ASMR (you can find it so on YouTubewhile on Instagram it is @ chiara.asmr), specialized in videos edited ad hoc also based on the user’s problem. Most listen to ASMR videos for falling asleep.

But what if we told you that ASMR can come in handy in the bedroom, not just for sleeping, but also to ignite the passion? Basically, it is true, ASMR induces a state of relaxation, with a real one lowering of heartbeats (scientific research claims up to three beats per second), but in some cases the ASMR can also stimulate arousal like the vision of an erotic scene.

How ASMR can stimulate erotic arousal

For most people who experience it, ASMR is pleasant, but in a relaxing way. It is as satisfying as a massage or a moment of relaxation, as for some it can be reading a good book, with their favorite music and a glass of wine. You relax, but you don’t get excited. But beware: isn’t it true that when you really relax then you are more ready to live intimacy more intensely? Sexual intercourse is often disastrous precisely because it is approached with agitation. So if you are sensitive to ASMR, why not take advantage of it predispose to sex?

How to bring the ASMR into the bedroom

First of all, you are sensitive to ASMR, or does it cause you pleasure and relaxation or just nervousness? The only way to know is experience it. Open YouTube or Spotify and choose an ASMR video: put on headphones for a better sound rendering, and observe the reactions in you (you notice it right away!). If those sounds or noises are bothering you, it is soon the fact that ASMR cannot be used as a foreplay.

But if you like those sounds, then start the game. First listen to them alone, then perhaps in pairs (if you are both sensitive to that stimulus) and try to do the same thing again with your voice while you are close to your partner’s ear, alternating with gods kisses on the neck. Add gods light touches on the skin, while playing the sound that excites the partner (it can be a whisper in the ear or even the chattering of the teeth). If you get excited watching the video where the ASMR artist articulates his mouth in a certain way to produce specific sounds, allow the first few minutes of watching this video to allow the atmosphere to heat up.

Maybe initially it will be strange to use the ASMR as a preliminary, but remember that sex is not routine, so kisses, caresses, touches, oral sex and then penetration, but it is first of all play and experimentation. If ASMR benefits your sexual practice, why not take advantage of it? Always experiment: pleasure explodes where there is neither judgment nor fear.
