The actor Lima Duarte 94, was honored in the fourth edition of Festival of Culture in Human Rights better known as DH Fest, last Wednesday night (11), in São Paulo.
With the theme “Between roots and horizons” the event presented the film “Body in Crime” 1990, starring the artist. In Nuno Cesar de Abreu’s production, Duarte played a coroner responsible for forging reports of natural death for victims of torture during the Brazilian military dictatorship.
Lima took to the Cinema stage with the support of his family, who were present to honor him.


DH Fest runs until December 15th, organized by the Vladimir Herzog Institute. Since 2012, the festival has given visibility to issues related to women’s struggles, quilombola and indigenous resistance and social inequalities.
