Add Austin Butler to the list of Ryan Gosling fans. During a recent appearance on the Today show, the “Elvis” star recalled being impressed upon seeing Gosling.
“It’s when you don’t expect to see someone… Then I saw him outside the hotel I was staying at, and I had to go in through another door,” Butler said, on interview. “I couldn’t even say hello. Because I grew up admiring him a lot.”
When “Today’s” Savannah Guthrie pointed out that Butler is also a celebrity, the actor said, “I know. But it doesn’t feel real.”
Gosling isn’t the only star Butler looks up to. Recently, the actor spoke to Jimmy Kimmel and told a story about attending a star-studded party hosted by Paul McCartney.
McCartney, who Butler said was “very kind,” had some of his famous friends there, including Tom Hanks, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift.
“These are those moments when you can barely imagine the amount of talent that is around you,” Butler said.
