The Brazilian trade balance registered a trade surplus of US$ 36 million in the second week of January 2023.
According to data released this Monday (16) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC), the value was reached with exports of US$ 4.774 billion and imports of US$ 4.738 billion.
In January, the commercial result accumulates a surplus of US$ 1.708 billion.
The daily average of exports registered in the first two weeks of January an increase of 16.8%, with a rise of 17.1% in agriculture, growth of 16.1% in Manufacturing industry and expansion of 18.9% in industrial products extractive.
Imports fell by 1.6%, with a rise of 24.0% in agriculture, a fall of 46.3% in extractive industry and a rise of 5.8% in products from the manufacturing industry, always in comparison with the daily average.
