The band Kiss donated exclusive collector’s items to a charity auction that will take place this Thursday (10) and will aim to raise funds for the victims of the floods that affected Rio Grande do Sul in May.
The event will take place at Associação Leopoldina Juvenil and was held by Instituto Sou de Fazer, owned by former football player Rafael Sobis. The idea is to allocate the amount raised to the reconstruction of homes and educational institutions.
Check out the list of items donated by the North American band below:
- 2 tickets for the final KISS show at Madison Square Garden, plated in 24k gold, stamped front and back with an exclusive laser-engraved number and accompanied by a certificate of the original ticket, autographed by the band;
- 2 hand-signed photocards;
- 2 official exclusive flags.
Lucas Zaffari, CEO of Opus Entretenimento, explains that it was the company’s marketing coordinator who convinced the band to help the Rio Grande do Sul victims.
“[A band] He promptly mobilized to send the items and help raise funds for the victims. We are very honored to make this bridge between entertainment and solidarity. We believe that both the actions that Opus Entretenimento has already carried out, and the auction of the Instituto Sou de Fazer, add up to fundamental initiatives that only reinforce the solidarity DNA of our people in this moment of reconstruction”, he stated.
The band has not confirmed a date for returning to Brazil, as it announced its retirement from the stage, went on a farewell tour celebrating 50 years of career and agreed to sell its musical catalogue.
