Bangladesh: The miniature cow that will be in the Guinness Book of World Records

Hundreds of people defy coronavirus restrictions and flock to a farm in Bangladesh to see up close one cow just 51 cm which according to the owners of the farm is the smallest cow in the world.

The 23-month-old miniature cow named Rani is 66 cm long, weighs 26 kg and is so small that one can carry her in his arms.

The owners of the farm where Rani is located say they have applied to the Guinness Book of Records to certify that Rani is the smallest cow in the world.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records website, the current holder of this title is Manikiam, a cow from the Indian state of Kerala, which when it entered the Book in 2014, was 61 cm long.

Bangladesh has extended the lockdown to July 14 to address the rise in cases mainly due to the highly contagious variant of the Delta virus.
