The head of European diplomacy Joseph Borel condemned during his statements on the evening of Thursday (29/2) to Friday (1/3) the “new carnage” in Gaza. She also described the deaths as “completely unacceptable”, following her government's announcement Hamas that over 110 people perished when food distribution turned into chaos.
“I am horrified by the news of yet another massacre of civilian casualties in Gaza in desperate need of humanitarian aid”the EU High Representative said via X (formerly Twitter).
“These deaths are completely unacceptable,” he continued.
“Depriving people of food aid is a serious violation of IHL (international humanitarian law),” Borel emphasized, adding: “Unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza must be granted».
