US President Joe Biden met today in Paris with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, apologized for congressional delays in approving the latest US aid package, and announced a new tranche of $225 million on the sidelines of events for 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy. The meeting was the first one-on-one meeting since Zelensky visited Washington in December, when both pressed Republicans to overcome their party’s opposition to more support for Ukraine.
