Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has introduced a number of restrictions for users of the P2P service in accordance with tenth package of sanctions EU versus Russia.
According to them, citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as any individuals residing in the country, regardless of nationality and citizenship, are prohibited from buying and selling dollars and euros on the Binance P2P platform.
In turn, EU citizens are denied access to ruble transactions using the service.
When trying to conduct the above transactions, the exchange offers to change the currency “to local”.
Earlier, cryptocurrency platforms announced a temporary suspension of operations through hryvnia bank cards.
Binance explained this to reinforced fight against illegal gambling.
