Binance temporarily stops accepting euro payments through SEPA

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance notifies users of the suspension of accepting deposits in euros through the payment system SEPA.

Exchange representatives stressed that the solution is temporary. It will go into effect on July 7th at 10:00 AM UTC.

“This decision was caused by circumstances beyond our control.”

Withdrawals through SEPA remain available.

In late June, UK financial regulator FCA banned Binance Markets Limited from any regulated activity in the country without prior written approval. The exchange stated that the specified legal entity did not provide services on the binance.com domain.

After that, the British Barclays banned customers from transferring funds to Binance.

Earlier, the verification of the work of Binance began in the Cayman Islands, in Thailand they accused it of operating without a license, and in Japan they issued another warning.
