Biostar unveils its AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card

Biostar has announced the release of its variant of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card. Recall that the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT card is the most affordable in the modern line of AMD consumer video cards. Designed for 1080p gaming, it competes with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 below.

The Biostar AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT configuration includes 32 compute units, 32MB AMD Infinity Cache and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The card supports AMD Smart Access Memory and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technologies, as well as DirectX 12 Ultimate APIs, including DirectX Raytracing (DXR), Variable Rate Shading and other advanced features.

Biostar does not name frequencies. We can assume that they are equal to the recommended ones, that is, the frequency in the game mode is 2359 MHz, and in the Boost mode – 2589 MHz.

In a press release on the release of the new product, it is said that it is “made of cast aluminum and other industrial grade materials with black and silver accents that will look good in any PC case.” The design of the cooling system includes two fans, and on the mounting plate you can find connectors for three Display Port 1.4 video outputs and one HDMI 2.1.

The manufacturer does not name the price and start date of sales. Recall that there is no reference sample AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT, but AMD recommends a price of $ 380, and the first models created by the company’s partners should go on sale on August 11.
