Cryptocurrency investment learning platform management BitDegree created the Metaverse Education Alliance (MEA) to educate developers working with the Metaverse and Web3.
Learnoverse and BitDegree CEO Danielius Stasiulis announced this at the MetaExpo Singapore, Web3 and Metaverse Education event. The idea of creating an alliance appeared due to the fact that more and more developers creating solutions based on the blockchain are trying their hand at creating virtual worlds. Therefore, there is a demand for educational programs related to the Web3 sector and the metaverse, Stasioulis explained.
He added that MEA is an international project, within which the leading players in the industry will be able to interact with stakeholders. Crypto Guilds, FIO Protocol, Pax World, Agora and Unstoppable Domains have already joined the alliance. CEO of Mistletoe Inc. and well-known Asian investor Taizo Son, who attended the forum, commented on Stasioulis’ initiative.
“The potential of Web3 and the Metaverse is huge, and it takes talent to fully realize it. The MEA Education Alliance is an important step that is needed to educate the younger generation of Web3 developers,” said Son.
According to the expectations of the forum participants, by 2030, from 70 million to 150 million people will take part in the creation of metauniverses. It may take about 7 million competent mentors to teach them how to work with Web3 and create a virtual space. The participants of the event came to the conclusion that in the current market conditions it is important to launch educational initiatives like MEA. This will provide talented people from all over the world with equal learning opportunities.
In June, Stasioulis said that digital assets would become much faster in everyday life thanks to social media. Metaverses can also change the interaction of people in the digital world, the head of BitDegree is sure.
