According to Darren Jordan, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa Markets at BitGo, there are many requests for the purchase of bitcoins from corporations.

“We are seeing a dramatic change in attitudes towards cryptocurrencies among corporate users. I have a lot of similar conversations every week – they ask me about ways to invest a small part of their funds in bitcoin. We have seen this trend over the past 12 months, ”said Darren Jordan during the Token 2049 conference in London.

According to him, representatives of companies are studying the cryptocurrency industry with interest. They ask about liquidity, about regulation, and when they will be allowed to invest in digital assets.

Genesis Trading CEO Michael Moro agreed with his colleague. He stressed that while the company has been working with hedge funds and family investment firms since 2015, it is the last year that there has been a strong increase in interest in cryptocurrency investments.

“A huge increase in the number of corporations investing in cryptocurrencies, and these are not only American technology firms, but also companies from South Africa and Southeast Asia. They use digital assets to diversify their asset portfolio, ”said Moreau.

BitGo recently became one of the custodian services that have entered into a partnership with the popular cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask. The service will store product user keys for MetaMask Institutional institutional clients.
