Black Friday 2021, which will be on the 26th of this month, will have a better performance than last year in e-commerce. According to a survey by the Brazilian Electronic Commerce Association (ABComm), sales should be 25% higher compared to 2020.
However, in relation to the average purchase ticket this year, the survey points out that it should be lower than in 2020. Brazilians are thinking of spending an average of R$ 620 per purchase, compared to R$ 668.70 last year.
The highlighted categories of desires of Brazilians this year are computers, cell phones, electronics, fashion and accessories, home and decoration.
A survey carried out by Google indicates that 64% of Brazilians intend to buy something during Black Friday of 2021.
Last year, Black Friday sales exceeded R$ 5.1 billion – 31% higher than the same period in 2019.
The items with the highest volume of purchases in 2020 were: fashion and accessories, beauty, perfumery and health, home items, entertainment and appliances, and ventilation.
