Divers in Indonesia have found the wreckage of a Sriwijaya Air Boeing 737 and body parts of likely dead passengers in the Java Sea. This is reported by AP.
“We are confident that this is where the plane crashed,” said Indonesian Air Force commander Hadi Tiajanto. Parts of the aircraft made it possible to detect good visibility in the water.
According to him, they found fragments of the fuselage with registration details of the aircraft. Also, body parts, clothing and metal scraps were removed from the water. Tianjanto hoped that today the weather at sea would allow them to continue their search.

The head of the State Emergency Service of Indonesia, Bagus Puruhito, said that they also recorded emergency signals that the aircraft’s flight recorder could have issued, Reuters reported.
