A deficit of 921 million euros showed the primary result of the state budget for the period January – April, compared to a deficit of 6.5 billion euros in the corresponding period last year, according to data released today by the Bank of Greece.
At the same time, for the period January-April 2022, the cash result of the central administration showed a deficit of 4.062 billion euros, compared to a deficit of 9.378 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2021.
According to the BoG, during this period, the revenues of the regular budget amounted to 15.611 billion euros from 13.746 billion euros last year. As for the regular budget expenditures, they amounted to 19.636 billion euros, from 22.176 billion euros in the period January-April 2021.
