Bottega Veneta, Matthieu Blazy is the new creative director

Five days after the news of the separation between the maison and Daniel Lee, the brand of Kering Group he chose not to go too far in seeking a talent who could replace the British designer. Blazy entered the orbit of Bottega Veneta in June 2020 with the task of taking care of the ready-to-wear.

Born in Paris in 1984, Blazy graduated from La Cambre, the National Higher School of Visual Arts in Brussels. Of French and Belgian nationality, he lives between Antwerp and Milan. His fashion career began as a men’s stylist for Raf Simons and continued at Martin Margiela home to cure the line Artisanal and the collection ready to wear female. In 2014 he became a senior designer from Celine to switch between Calvin Klein from 2016 to 2019 once again alongside Raf Simons.
