We know that it is important that adolescents and, especially, young children do not use cell phones without supervision to avoid situations such as the one involving an American father, who learned his lesson in a very special way.
This is Keith, who decided to lend his mobile phone to his six-year-old son Mason so that he could entertain himself playing while it was time to sleep, but he was surprised when a parade of food delivery men surprised him in his home.
As reported by Fox 2 Detroit, Kristin, the mother of the naughty Mason, was at the movies with some friends, so dad stayed home to take care of the child. Before putting the boy to sleep, Keith lent him his cell phone so he could play his favorite video game for half an hour.
We suppose that while he was playing, Manson felt hungry, so he decided that he would not bother his dad, because he knew how to solve this situation: he would order food at home like adults do.
When the first delivery man arrived at the house, Keith thought it was someone who was going to leave some merchandise for his wife, since he owns a bakery and they often deliver products to him, but the doorbell continued to ring several more times until he decided to go out and ask the a delivery man the reason for his delivery.
He said we ordered chicken shawarmas. I looked at my phone with repeated messages that my food was being prepared, my food was being delivered. I looked at my bank account and it was running low. I went to talk to Mason about what he did and this is the only part that makes me laugh. He’s trying to explain that this isn’t good, and he puts his hand up and says, ‘Dad, are the pepperoni pizzas here yet?’
I didn’t know if I should be angry or laugh. Not know what to do. You just don’t think your kid is going to do something like this. He’s definitely smart enough, he just didn’t expect it.
Fortunately, this story had a happy ending, because when the American food delivery and ordering platform found out what had happened, it decided to give the distraught father a gift card worth a thousand dollars, just what the boy had spent.
