A Brazilian tourist was raped by seven men in India, in the state of Jharkhand, this Friday (1st). According to police information, all those involved have been identified and three have already been arrested.
According to information from the website The Print, the Brazilian woman and her partner, of Spanish origin, were crossing the country on a motorcycle. The couple was headed to Nepal, and stopped in the Dumka district to spend Friday night.
According to statements from authorities, the crime suspects are local residents.
In a video posted on social media, the couple, who appear with bruises on their faces, also stated that they were robbed by the group.
“Something happened to us that we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Seven men raped me, they beat us and robbed us, although they didn't take many things because what they wanted was to rape me. We are at the hospital with the police. This happened tonight, here in India”, said the Brazilian.
