Brazilians are arrested with 200 cocaine capsules in their intestines in SP

Two Brazilians were arrested with 200 capsules of cocaine in the intestine at Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo, this weekend.

The Federal Police (PF) arrested the man, aged 38, and a woman, aged 20, with 100 containers of the drug in each person’s digestive organs. The actions took place on Saturday (18) and Sunday (20).

The pair tried to ship the cocaine to Paris, France . The PF identified the drugs through x-ray and body scanning. See an image below:


THE CNN found that the man, from Pernambuco, and the woman, from Pará, had previously traveled to the French capital but separate. There is still no evidence that the pair had any connection with each other, other than their association with the crime.

The two were taken to the Guarulhos General Hospital to safely expel the drugs. To date, more than 260 grams of cocaine from the man’s body alone.

They must give a statement and undergo a custody hearing, where a judge will determine the legality of the arrests and whether they will be released or detained. They will be charged with international drug trafficking.
