2024 Edition
For 2024, the Brit Awards have increased the number of nominees for Artist of the Year and International Artist of the Year from five to ten, a change aimed at improving representation and inclusion. Furthermore, more than half of the nominations (55%) for the 2024 BRITs feature women . The complete list of nominations can be found here.
Furthermore, this year's edition features a new genre award category: R&B Act . In this case, eligibility for the R&B music genre award spanned a period of 24 months, rather than the usual 12 months, to ensure more artists could compete.
