Britain: Non-functional two bridges for resupplying Russian forces in Kherson

The two main road bridges providing access to the enclave of Russian-held territory on the west bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region are probably inoperable for the purposes of essential military resupply, British military intelligence said today, according to Reuters.

Even if Russia manages to make major repairs to the bridges, they will remain a key weak point, the British Ministry of Defense said.

“The land supply of the several thousand Russian troops in the West Bank is almost certainly dependent on the two crossing points alone,” the ministry said in an intelligence briefing.

With their supply chain limited, the size of whatever stockpiles Russia has been able to build up on the west bank is likely to be a key factor in the force’s endurance, according to the briefing.
